I had the pleasure of photographing the St. John’s NYC Fashion Week show in February (click the previous link for a video about the show) held at the exquisite building of the Ukrainian Institute of America, right across from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It was one of the best shows of the nearly thirty designers I had a chance to see. Here are some pics I got of the action.
It was that time of the year when all the ghouls and goblins come out so my team thought that it would be appropriate to do something to celebrate it. The Day of the Dead was the decision we took and so here are images of our wonderful model/actress, the very talented rising star Ami Sheth. You probably would have never recognized her if all you had seen before was her soap opera, movie and commercial work. I love the colors and patterns of traditional Asian clothing. So what better way to celebrate them then putting them all together in an Indian restaurant for this Red hot shoot! I enjoy fairy tales as much as probably anyone. And I think they particularly lend themselves to fashion as they allow for immense creativity from the whole team. Here are some of my favorite pictures from an editorial take on Dr. Seuss’s beloved Cat in the Hat. This time the Cat has lost her hat. In October I was honored to take pictures for Rachel Fine‘s engagement party over at Cibar Lounge in NYC. Rachel Fine is a singer/songwriter and television host on Howard Stern TV’s “The Bonus Show” and “Fine Time with Rachel Fine“. She’s one of the nicest human beings and a pleasure to work with!
