I had the pleasure of creating some product shots for my friend Susan of the rising beauty care product line Naturally Susan’s. But don’t let me convince you of the results that her natural and organic beauty care products bring as I am, knock on wood, lucky to have naturally good skin. Just read about what everyone else is talking about on her page. And while you do that, the real chocolate in the Chocolate Facial Masque picture is making me hungry so I will need to go get my fix! Take a look at the pics and then let the cleansing begin…
I’m excited to announce that some of my pictures of the Endometriosis Foundation of America’s 4th Annual Blossom Ball have been posted on L’Oasis Floral Design‘s blog, website and Facebook page. L’Oasis Floral Design does some fabulous floral arrangements as you can see in the pictures. Check them out!
Also, my fashion portrait of Shenaz Treasurywala, an Indian actress known most recently for her roles in the movie Delhi Belly and on the daytime soap opera One Life to Live is on her IMDB page located here.
It’s been a long time coming but my new blog is finally here! Over the next couple of months I hope to add lots of content from editorials, portraits and events that I will be shooting. I hope that you enjoy looking at these images as much as I have enjoyed creating them.
On March 19th I had the pleasure of photographing The Asia Society Gala Benefit Dinner and Dance at New York’s Plaza Hotel. This gala evening presented art, fashion, cuisine, music and design from across Asia. Guests in attendance included Anna Sui (designer), Michael Joo (artist), Hafez Nazeri (composer), Danielle Chang (LuckyRice founder and previously chief executive of Vivienne Tam fashion house). For me one of the highlights was seeing up close the legendary 84-year old photographer Bill Cunningham doing his awesome stuff (I got several pictures of him in action too!:)). Now, enjoy the pictures and then check some others out at the Asia Society website where some more of my pictures are posted as well.
This past March 15th I had the pleasure of photographing The Fourth Annual Blossom Ball at the New York Public Library on 42nd Street. The event was organized/sponsored by the Endometriosis Foundation of America and IMG and some of the attendees included Padma Lakshmi, Susan Sarandon, Tyra Banks, Debbie Harry (from the 70′s/80′s group Blondie), Cucu Diamantes (Grammy nominated singer) and well-known model Alek Wek. This important organization, headed by Dr. Tamer Seckin, “wants to end the suffering of women and girls from endometriosis by making a proven “state of the art” treatment the standard.” I have a friend that suffers from this disease so I was happy to volunteer my services. Please enjoy some of the pictures of the event and the main New York Public Library building on 42nd St. and 5th Avenue in Manhattan like you probably have never seen it.
